The terms behind our tutoring service: the agreement, scheduling and cancellation rules, payment in Indonesian rupiah, and each side’s responsibilities, written in plain language.
Private Tutoring Bali matches vetted tutors with families and manages the placement, including scheduling, reporting and tutor changes. Family tutoring is provided to children aged 4 to 17, at the family’s home, villa or hotel, online, or on a school campus where the school agrees.
An engagement begins when we confirm a tutor and a first session in writing. The written brief, agreed goals and the confirmed hourly rate form part of the agreement. Private Tutoring Bali was established in Bali in 2020 and operates from Jl. Tukad Barito Timur III No.16, Panjer, Denpasar Selatan, Bali 80226, Indonesia.
Sessions are scheduled directly with you and confirmed in writing. You can cancel or reschedule any session free of charge with 24 or more hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full.
If we need to cancel a session, it is rescheduled at no cost to you or refunded in full, whichever you prefer. If a placement is not working, you can change the plan or the tutor at any point, or stop altogether: there is no minimum booking and no long-term contract.
Individual sessions are priced in Indonesian rupiah on this rate card: Standard IDR 500,000 per hour for children, Advanced IDR 800,000 per hour for companies, and Master IDR 1,000,000 per hour for specialist teaching briefs, subject to confirmed tutor qualifications. The package for your brief is confirmed in writing before the first session.
Your written quote confirms travel arrangements and any additional cost for your address. Everyday learning materials are included; textbooks, exam entry fees and external specialist assessments are billed separately and named before you agree to them.
Payment is made per session or monthly in arrears for regular bookings. We do not require a deposit. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards, and invoices are due within 7 days; sessions may be paused while an account is overdue.
Prepaid packages receive a discount: 5 percent off 10 sessions, 10 percent off 20 sessions and 15 percent off 40 sessions. Packages are valid for 12 months, can be shared between siblings, and unused sessions are refundable within 30 days of purchase, less a 10 percent administration fee, as set out in the refund policy.
Every tutor works under our written child protection policy, which covers conduct standards, supervision guidance for in-home sessions and how concerns are raised and handled. We ask that a responsible adult is at home, or immediately contactable on the property, during sessions with younger children.
We are tutors, not clinicians. We do not diagnose or treat learning or developmental conditions, and we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes. Our commitment is a vetted tutor, a written plan, honest reporting after every session, and a refund of the first session if you tell us within 48 hours that it was not right.
