The requests we hear most are specific. Mathematics after a curriculum change, because topic order differs between systems and small gaps compound. Academic English, for students learning in a second or third language. Coursework calendars in the IB Diploma years, when internal assessments, the extended essay and revision arrive together. And exam technique in the IGCSE years, when strong knowledge still needs the right paper craft.

How a placement works
You tell us the school, the curriculum, the year group and what has become difficult. We write a brief, then propose a tutor whose subject knowledge, curriculum experience and personality fit it.
You receive the tutor’s written profile before the first session, and a short note after every session from then on. Every four weeks a fuller progress summary arrives, set against the goals agreed at the start. If the fit is wrong, we change the tutor. If the first session is not right, tell us within 48 hours and we refund that session in full.

How we place tutors for school-aligned work
Private Tutoring Bali, founded in 2020, coordinates tutoring placements in family homes and villas. Before any tutor is proposed, we confirm curriculum knowledge, watch a teaching demonstration, verify references and record any police clearance obtained for the proposed tutor. The person who arrives is the person whose profile you approved.
We are tutors, not clinicians, and we do not promise grades. What we provide is a checked tutor, a written plan, notes after every session and an honest account of how your child is doing.
Rates
