For hotels and villas
On-site English training for the guest-facing teams of Bali hotels, resorts, villas and restaurants. Sessions run at your property in groups of up to 12, on a published rate card confirmed in writing before the programme starts.
This page is for the people who run Bali’s hospitality businesses: resorts and hotels, private villas, restaurants and beach clubs, and the guest-facing teams who carry the guest experience in English. Front office and concierge, housekeeping, food and beverage, spa and wellness, reservations and guest relations: if your team speaks to international guests, this programme is built for them.
The typical client is a general manager, an HR or training manager, or a villa operator whose team manages daily English well enough, but loses precision at the moments that matter: the welcome at check-in, the special request, the complaint handled at reception with a queue behind it. We train the English those moments actually require.
If your brief is broader business English, such as presentations, reporting or sales correspondence for a non-hospitality company, that service sits on our corporate English page.
Materials are built from your property’s own language where you allow it: your welcome scripts, your menus, your standard operating procedures and your guest correspondence. Adults learn fastest when the English in the session is the English of their shift.
Every programme begins with a needs analysis, before any paid session. We hold an initial conversation with the manager about the team, the departments and the situations where English matters most, then assess each participant’s level informally, in the context of their role. From that we write a training plan with goals you can read.
Sessions run on-site at your property, in a meeting room or training space you provide. Groups are capped at 12 participants and set by level and department, so a front-office group works on front-office English. Each session is 90 minutes, scheduled around your shift patterns, including split shifts and low-season blocks.
All training materials are included. After each block, the manager receives a written progress summary: attendance, what was covered, and how each participant is progressing against the agreed goals. The person paying for the training should never have to ask how it is going.
Plans are reviewed at the end of every block. If the training is not producing visible change, we say so and change the approach, or tell you honestly that training is not the answer.
Hotel and villa training is billed per 90-minute session, in Indonesian rupiah, in three trainer tiers. The tier reflects the seniority of the trainer your programme requires, and it is named in your written proposal before you commit to anything.
| Trainer tier | Rate per 90-minute session | What it typically covers |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | IDR 1,200,000 | Core guest-service English for most departments |
| Senior | IDR 1,800,000 | Department-specific programmes and mixed-level groups |
| Lead | IDR 2,500,000 | Senior teams, pre-opening training and the most specialised briefs |
The rate covers the trainer, the preparation and all training materials for a group of up to 12 at your property. Travel is included in our listed areas; for properties outside them, any travel cost is confirmed in writing before you book, never after.
Most hotels train weekly, and ongoing programmes carry a commitment discount. The discount applies to the session rate for your tier and is invoiced monthly, so there is no large prepayment and the arithmetic stays simple.
| Commitment | Discount | Effective Standard rate per session |
|---|---|---|
| 3 months | 5 percent | IDR 1,140,000 |
| 6 months | 10 percent | IDR 1,080,000 |
| 12 months | 15 percent | IDR 1,020,000 |
The rates for your programme, including any commitment discount, are confirmed in writing before the programme starts. What you are quoted is what you are invoiced.
Message us on WhatsApp or email us with four things: your property, the departments you want to train, the approximate team size, and the situations where English matters most. We reply within one working day.
Within three working days of that first conversation you receive a written proposal: the recommended format, the trainer tier, the schedule, the goals and the full cost. You decide with everything on paper, and there is no obligation attached to the proposal.
Up to 12 participants per group, at your property. Larger teams are split into groups by level and department, so each session stays focused and everyone gets speaking time.
From elementary through to advanced. Each participant’s level is assessed informally during the needs analysis, and groups are set by level so that no one is held back or left behind.
Yes. Sessions are timed with your duty roster: before or after shifts, between split shifts, or in concentrated blocks during the quieter months. The schedule is fixed in the written proposal.
Yes. Each participant who completes a programme block receives a certificate of completion noting the hours attended and the content covered. It is a record of training, not an accredited qualification, and we say so plainly.
Yes. Online follow-up sessions are available for refreshers between blocks, for individual staff who need extra practice, and for team members who move to a property outside our travel areas.
