How matching works here
A coordinator matches your child’s subject, curriculum, learning needs, location and schedule to an available tutor. You review the proposed person before agreeing to a paid session.
The Discovery and Matching Coordinator speaks with the family first. She then pairs the child with the educator whose subject depth, teaching style, location and schedule genuinely fit. We reply within one working day, and we confirm the expected time for your tutor profile after the discovery call.
Ask for the proposed tutor’s qualification, awarding institution, relevant curriculum experience, teaching approach and completed checks. Availability is confirmed for your dates rather than inferred from a public profile.
Vetted before they teach
The written profile should distinguish identity, qualification and reference checks, the demonstration lesson, conduct briefing and any police-clearance document obtained. Ask which checks have been completed for the specific tutor and when.
The written profile we send you before booking names the checks completed for that person. Vetting reduces risk; it does not remove it. That is why it sits alongside session notes and a clear way to raise concerns.
Confirm availability before booking
Share your preferred days, times and location. The coordinator confirms availability with the proposed tutor and explains alternatives if your first choice of schedule is unavailable.

What profile do I see before the first session?
You receive a written profile of the specific educator we are proposing, covering qualifications, curriculum experience and the checks completed, and you approve that person before any paid hour.
Why are photographs not shown here?
Public teacher pages show roles and initials only. Named profiles with fuller detail are shared privately during matching, which protects the families and schools our educators work with. See our team for how that works.
How are rates confirmed for a specific teacher?
The rate follows the published card on the pricing guide, matched to the brief, not to a public ranking of teachers. Confirmed in writing before booking.
What if the match is not right after the first session?
Tell us within 48 hours and we refund that session in full, then change the plan or the tutor. First-session terms are in the refund policy.
