How to Reach Us

WhatsApp (Fastest): Message us on WhatsApp for the quickest response. We check WhatsApp throughout the day and usually reply within a few hours. This is the best way to book a free consultation, ask questions, or arrange a tutor.

Phone: Call us if you prefer to talk. We are available by phone during business hours (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Bali time). If we miss your call, we will call you back within 24 hours.

Email: Email us if you have detailed questions or if you want to send documents (school reports, assessments, etc.). We reply to emails within 24 hours.

Social media: You can also message us on Instagram or Facebook. We monitor these channels but WhatsApp is faster.

What to Include in Your First Message

To help us respond quickly and accurately, please include:

  • Your child's age and school
  • The curriculum they follow (IB, Cambridge, Australian, etc.)
  • The subjects they need help with
  • Any learning needs or preferences (ADHD, dyslexia, etc.)
  • Your area in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Sanur, etc.)
  • Preferred days and times for tutoring
  • Your contact number or WhatsApp

The more you tell us, the better we can match a tutor and propose a schedule.

What Happens Next

Step 1: We reply within 24 hours. Usually much sooner. We ask any follow-up questions and clarify your needs.

Step 2: We match a tutor. Based on your child's needs, curriculum, and location, we select a tutor from our team. We send you the tutor's profile: qualifications, experience, and teaching approach.

Step 3: Free assessment (optional). If you want, we arrange a free 45-60 minute assessment so the tutor can meet your child and evaluate their level. This is not a test. It is a conversation starter.

Step 4: First session. If you are happy with the tutor and the assessment, we schedule the first tutoring session. You pay after the session (or monthly for regular bookings). There is no long-term contract.

Step 5: Ongoing support. After every session, you receive a brief update. Every four weeks, you receive a formal progress report. You can contact us at any time with questions or concerns.

FAQ

How quickly do you respond?

We usually respond to WhatsApp messages within a few hours and to emails within 24 hours. If you do not hear back within 24 hours, please send a follow-up message.

Can I call you?

Yes. We are available by phone during business hours (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Bali time). If we miss your call, we will call you back within 24 hours.

Do you offer online tutoring?

Yes. We offer online tutoring via Zoom for families who live in remote areas or who travel frequently. We use digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and interactive tools.

Can I visit your office?

We do not have a physical office. Our tutors come to your villa. We are a mobile tutoring service, which is why we can cover all of Bali.

What languages do you speak?

Our team speaks English, Indonesian, French, German, and Mandarin. Most tutoring is in English, but we can arrange bilingual or Indonesian-language tutoring if needed.

Do you work with all international schools in Bali?

Yes. We regularly support students from Green School Bali, Canggu Community School, Bali Island School, Dyatmika School, Sanur Independent School, Lycée Français de Bali, and ProEducation School. We adapt to the IB, Cambridge, Australian, and French curricula.

Can tutoring start the same week I contact you?

Often yes. Once we understand your needs and match a tutor, the first session can usually take place within 24 to 48 hours.

Why Families Choose In-Villa Tutoring in Bali

International families choose Private Tutoring Bali because our tutors come to them. There is no traffic, no waiting at a centre, and no rushed handover at school gates. The child stays in a familiar environment, parents can observe, and sessions fit around surf lessons, tennis, travel plans, and family meals.

This model is especially helpful for children who are shy, anxious, or easily distracted. A villa session removes the performance pressure of a classroom and lets the tutor see how a child actually works — their study space, their energy levels, and their natural routines.

International Curricula We Support

We match tutors by curriculum, not just by subject. Families contact us for support with the IB Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes; Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level; the Australian Curriculum; and the French National Curriculum. We also support Indonesian national school students who want extra English, maths, or science support alongside their school programme.

If your child is changing curricula mid-year — for example, moving from a national system into an international school — we can design a short transition programme to close gaps before the first day.

When to Contact Private Tutoring Bali

There is no wrong time to get in touch. Many parents contact us at the start of a new term to set up regular weekly support in maths or English. Others reach out after a school report raises a concern, or when IB coursework and exams begin to feel overwhelming. We also work with families who have just moved to Bali and need a smooth transition into a new curriculum or school culture. Whatever your situation, a single WhatsApp message is enough to start the conversation.

What to Expect in Your First Week

Once we match your child with a tutor, the first week is about relationship and routine. The tutor arrives at your villa on the agreed day, introduces themselves to your family, and spends time understanding how your child learns best. For academic tutoring, this often includes a short review of recent schoolwork and a conversation about goals. For younger learners, the first session may look more like games and guided conversation to build trust. Parents are welcome to sit in for part of the first session or to check in by WhatsApp afterwards.

Staying in Touch Between Sessions

Good tutoring does not stop when the tutor leaves. Between sessions, you can send homework photos, school updates, or questions through WhatsApp, and your tutor or our coordination team will reply. Every month you receive a short progress report, and we schedule a brief check-in call whenever you need one. This ongoing loop means lessons stay aligned with what is happening at school and at home.
