Our Pricing Philosophy

We believe in transparent, fair pricing. No hidden fees. No surprises. No long-term contracts. You pay for the tutoring you receive, and you can stop at any time. We offer competitive rates for Bali and we provide value for money: qualified tutors, personalised sessions, progress tracking, and responsive customer service.

Standard Hourly Rates

Our rates depend on the tutor's qualifications, experience, and the subject being taught. Here is our standard pricing structure:

Primary tutoring (ages 5-11):

Standard tutor: IDR 350,000 - 450,000 per hour
Specialist tutor (SEN, phonics, advanced maths): IDR 450,000 - 550,000 per hour

Secondary tutoring (ages 12-16):

Standard tutor: IDR 400,000 - 500,000 per hour
Specialist tutor (IB, IGCSE, A-Level): IDR 500,000 - 650,000 per hour

IB and A-Level tutoring (ages 16-18):

Standard tutor: IDR 500,000 - 650,000 per hour
Specialist tutor (HL subjects, IA/EE support): IDR 650,000 - 800,000 per hour

University and adult tutoring:

Standard tutor: IDR 600,000 - 800,000 per hour
Specialist tutor: IDR 800,000 - 1,000,000 per hour

Corporate English training:

One-to-one: IDR 600,000 - 800,000 per hour
Small group (3-6): IDR 400,000 - 500,000 per person per hour
Large group (10+): IDR 300,000 - 400,000 per person per hour

Online tutoring:

All levels: 10% discount on in-person rates

SEN specialist tutoring (ADHD, dyslexia, autism):

Standard SEN tutor: IDR 450,000 - 550,000 per hour
Advanced SEN specialist: IDR 550,000 - 700,000 per hour

Package Discounts

We offer discounts for regular bookings:

10-session package: 5% discount on the total
20-session package: 10% discount on the total
40-session package: 15% discount on the total

Packages can be shared between siblings. They are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions are refundable within the first 30 days, minus a 10% administration fee.

What Is Included

Our hourly rate includes:

Travel: The tutor travels to your villa. No extra travel fees for Canggu, Ubud, Sanur, Seminyak, and surrounding areas. For areas outside our standard coverage, a small travel fee may apply.
Preparation: The tutor prepares for each session based on your child's needs and progress. They review previous work, plan new content, and bring materials.
Materials: Basic materials are included: worksheets, practice papers, and digital resources. For specialised materials (textbooks, software, etc.), we may ask you to purchase them separately.
Progress reports: Brief updates after every session and formal progress reports every four weeks.
Tutor matching: We match your child with the right tutor based on subject, level, personality, and learning style. If the first tutor is not a good fit, we will find another at no extra cost.
Customer service: You can contact us at any time with questions, concerns, or scheduling changes. We respond within 24 hours.

What Is Not Included

Textbooks and workbooks: If your child needs a specific textbook or workbook, you may need to purchase it separately. We can recommend titles.
Exam entry fees: We do not pay exam entry fees. You are responsible for registering your child for exams and paying the fees directly to the exam board or school.
Assessments by external professionals: If your child needs a formal assessment by an educational psychologist, speech therapist, or other specialist, this is not included. We can recommend professionals but their fees are separate.
Cancellations within 24 hours: Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at full rate. Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice can be rescheduled at no extra cost.

Payment and Terms

Payment: We accept bank transfer, credit card, and PayPal. Payment is due after each session or monthly for regular bookings. We do not require long-term contracts.
Invoices: We provide detailed invoices for every session or monthly summary. Invoices include session dates, times, tutor names, and amounts.
Refunds: If you are not satisfied with a session, let us know within 24 hours and we will arrange a replacement session at no extra cost. Package refunds are available within 30 days of purchase, minus a 10% administration fee.
Cancellation policy: Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice can be rescheduled at no extra cost. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at full rate. We understand that emergencies happen and we will be reasonable in exceptional circumstances.

FAQ

Can I try one session before committing to a package?

Yes. We encourage you to try one or two sessions before purchasing a package. There is no obligation to continue. You can pay per session until you are confident that tutoring is right for your child.

Do you offer discounts for siblings?

Yes. We offer a 10% discount for each additional sibling. Siblings can also share a package. Contact us for details.

Is there a minimum number of sessions?

No. You can book as few or as many sessions as you need. Most students benefit from at least one session per week for 8-12 weeks to see meaningful improvement.

Can I change tutors if the first one is not a good fit?

Yes, at no extra cost. Tutor matching is important and we want every child to have a tutor they are comfortable with. Just let us know and we will find another tutor.

Do you offer online tutoring?

Yes. Online tutoring is available at a 10% discount on in-person rates. It is ideal for students who live outside our in-person areas or who prefer the flexibility of online learning.

The right plan depends on your child's goals, current level, and schedule. Families booking exam preparation often choose a 20-session package for steady, structured progress, while younger learners usually start with weekly maths tutoring or English tutoring sessions to build confidence gradually.
