Learning support
A learning coach helps your child plan, start and complete schoolwork more independently. Sessions at your villa use current assignments and deadlines to practise organisation and study skills.

A learning coach asks what stops learning, not only what subject is next. The brief is study skills, organisation, motivation and the routines that make every subject easier. Where a subject tutor covers content, a coach builds the systems that carry content to completion.
Parents usually write when a capable student is inconsistent: bright in conversation, chaotic in execution. The page suits secondary students especially, when homework, deadlines and revision start to carry real weight across IB, Cambridge, UK, US or Australian programmes.
Coaching targets executive function: planning, starting, organising and finishing. Those skills are teachable through the child’s real schoolwork until the systems run without the coach.
We are tutors, not clinicians — we do not diagnose or treat. Where attention or organisation difficulties may sit inside ADHD or another condition, coaching can sit alongside clinical care; it does not replace it. Diagnostic questions go to qualified professionals. ADHD-specific delivery is covered on our ADHD page.
Early sessions audit the current systems, or the lack of them: where homework is recorded, how revision is planned, what happens the night before a deadline. Then the coach builds replacements one at a time — one calendar, one task list, one weekly review habit.
Study techniques are practised on live schoolwork: breaking a project into dated stages, revising actively instead of re-reading, sitting a timed paper. Techniques learned only in the abstract rarely survive a real Tuesday in Bali.
We reply within one working day and confirm the expected time for your coach profile after the discovery call. You read the profile before the first session. With your permission, the coach aligns practice with the school calendar so planning answers real deadlines rather than invented ones.
Sessions follow the published rate card: Standard IDR 500,000 per hour for children, Advanced IDR 800,000 per hour for companies, and Master IDR 1,000,000 per hour for specialist teaching, confirmed in writing before the first session. If the first session is not right, tell us within 48 hours and we refund that session in full.
Coaching is educational support only. It does not replace clinical assessment, counselling or therapy, and we do not promise particular grades. What we offer is method: study systems taught properly, practised on real work and reviewed until they stick.
A clear boundary: Coaching complements, and never replaces, clinical assessment or therapy.
A subject tutor teaches content. A learning coach teaches the skills that make every subject easier: organisation, planning, revision technique and follow-through, using your child’s real schoolwork as practice.
The skills overlap, and students with ADHD often benefit, but this is an educational service open to any student. Clinical questions are signposted to qualified professionals. See also ADHD support.

Secondary students facing multiple deadlines usually see the clearest gain. Younger students can benefit when organisation, not subject knowledge, is the main barrier.
