Inclusion Teacher in Bali for Mainstream Classrooms

An inclusion teacher in Bali supports a child with additional needs inside a mainstream classroom, working with the class teacher and only with school permission.

Who this support is for

Inclusion teachers help children with additional needs access mainstream lessons. Titles vary by school — inclusion teacher, learning support assistant, shadow teacher — but the function is similar: one educator making the class lesson reachable for one child.

Parents usually write when the school welcomes parent-funded in-class support, or when they want a clearer conversation with learning support about what is possible.

How tutoring helps, and where it stops

Inside the lesson, the inclusion teacher prompts, scaffolds and fades support so the child participates without becoming dependent. Outside the lesson, they may support transitions and unstructured times if the school agrees.

We are tutors, not clinicians — we do not diagnose or treat. Clinical needs are signposted to qualified professionals.

What sessions look like

The day follows the school timetable. Support is lightest when the child is coping and increases only when access is slipping. Notes go to parents and, with permission, to the school learning-support lead.

Independence is the destination from day one; support is reviewed termly.

Boundaries

An inclusion teacher does not replace the class teacher, the school SENCo, or clinical assessment and therapy.

A clear boundary: In-school support is educational only and always subject to school rules.

Frequently asked questions

How is an inclusion teacher different from a shadow teacher?

Schools use different titles for overlapping roles. See shadow teacher and classroom assistant for related arrangements.

What if the school prefers its own staff?

Then an external placement is not the right route. We can still discuss villa tutoring after school if that helps.

Where do sessions take place?

An inclusion teacher supports your child within the school setting, subject to school agreement and its support plan. We confirm responsibilities, scheduling and travel arrangements before the placement begins. Home tutoring can be discussed separately where appropriate.

How quickly can we start?

We reply within one working day and confirm the expected time for your tutor profile after the discovery call. We agree on the first session once you have reviewed the profile and confirmed the arrangements.

What if the tutor is not the right fit?

Tell us and we change the plan or the tutor. First-session refund terms apply if you notify us within 48 hours.

Where can I see inclusion-teacher rates?

Full tiers and terms are on the pricing guide. Your rate is confirmed in writing before the first session.

Do you need an IEP?

An IEP or ILP helps alignment but is not required. Where none exists, we agree simple written goals with you and, where possible, the school.
